How to build a careers site in Jobtrain with Career Site Builder (client-exclusive)

Career Site Builder lets your team design and control your careers pages inside Jobtrain, with no agency and no code. From Settings and then Brand Builder you can set your logo, colours and fonts, then build up to 10 pages using hero images, text, testimonials, video and more and publish them the moment you are ready.

Getting Careers Site Builder switched on

Career Site Builder is an optional add-on to your Jobtrain licence, at a fraction of the cost of a custom-built careers site. If you don't see the Pages option under Brand Builder, the feature is not yet active on your account. To switch it on, book a meeting with your account manager or contact our support team.

    Is the careers site a fixed template or can I configure the pages?

    Almost every page is fully flexible. On the search jobs page, you can change the hero image that sits behind the search box and you can add components to that page too. The only page you cannot add extra components to is the job listing page itself, where your live adverts appear. All of your other careers pages can be built and arranged however you like.

    Is there a limit on how many images or videos I can add to a page?

    There is no set limit that we are aware of and in practice no one has reached one. Videos are not uploaded into Jobtrain - you host your video on YouTube or Vimeo, then add its link to the page and it appears with a thumbnail.

    Is this an internal portal or the external careers site?

    Career Site Builder is functionality within the Jobtrain ATS that shapes the candidate experience. You can build separate content for both your external careers site, for job seekers, and your internal careers site, for existing employees looking at internal opportunities.

    Can I build pages in draft and publish them later?

    Yes. The Show Page toggle ensures the page is not visible on your live careers site. Add your page, switch Show Page to off straight away and save, then build the page while it stays hidden from candidates. When you are ready, switch Show Page back on and save and it appears on your careers site right away.
