Why your account in Jobtrain may be archived after inactivity

Each hiring organisation using Jobtrain sets its own data retention period, usually around 12 months, though this can vary. If your candidate account stays inactive for that period, Jobtrain emails you first to warn you, then archives the account. Once an account is archived, its data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Clients using Jobtrain will each have their own GDPR data retention period, typically around 12 months, though this can vary.

If your candidate account remains inactive for this duration, you should receive an email to let you know that your account and associated data are due to be archived unless accessed within the specified timeframe.

Please note - Once archived, all historical data is permanently removed from Jobtrain.

If you’re unsure of a specific organisation’s data retention period, or you’re having difficulty locating or accessing your Jobtrain account, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
