Multi Document Upload Activation Setup

Step 1 - Activating the feature
  1. Raise a ticket with Ejaz to Activate feature (see ticket template).
  2. Within ATS Control:
    • Client
    • System Features
    • Toggle Multiple attachments on
  3. To allow candidates to upload images (e.g., JPG, PNG) alongside standard documents.

Navigate to ATS Control > Candidate > Search & Display Options and add the following configuration variable:
  • Variable Name: feature-allow-image-in-multidocs
  • Variable Value: true

Step 2 – Enabling the feature in Security roles

Within client side

  • Settings
  • Security role
  • Settings
  • Toggle on System Setup: Multiple Documents Upload

Step 3 – System Settings

Next you will need to add you document types:

  • System Settings
  • Multi document uploads

Here the client can have up to 10 different document types here.

  • Select New Document Type to add in the document types

Step 4 – Application Templates

You now need to activate the multi uploads section in the relevant application templates.

  • Settings
  • Application Templates
  • Application Templates

  • Click to edit the relevant application template (or add a new one if required)

  • Switch on the Multi uploads section

  • Toggle on Upload documents to allow the candidates to upload
  • Then switch on relevant fields the client has asked for

All fields within the multi uploads must be named the same against all application form templates and must match the documents types listed in System Settings.

So alternate display name must match the caption!

Testing

The following should be carried out before releasing to a client:

  • Create a test job and attach an application form where you have activated the multi documents upload section
  • Test applying for the role and uploading documents on External / Internal and Agency Portal to ensure this is working on all sites
  • Check that these documents have uploaded to the candidate’s application and are visible to users (allow enough time for the sanitisation to have processed the documents and check the ‘processing’ message is not visible)
  • Check that as a system user you can update these on behalf of a candidate
