This typically takes 24-48 hours for the account to be created.

User ID (Admin): 32007852

User ID (posting User): 32007853

Username (posting User): policenow@jobtrainsupport.co.uk

Password (posting User): POLICENOW2021

Step 2 – Activate the feature in jtadmin
  • Go to jtadmin
  • Client
  • System Features Setup
  • Scroll down to IDIBU and toggle on

Step 3 – Add in account credentials in jtadmin
  • Go to jtadmin
  • Client
  • Client Configuration
  • Scroll down to IDIBU
  • Edit each line to add in the relevant credentials into the value field:

Step 4 – Idibu Setup steps

Once you have received confirmation of setup, you can login into our main idibu account

with the details below: https://partners.idibu.com/.

Account: gary.towers@jobtrain.co.uk

Password: T-33B2VY

Locate the client that has been created and click on the Hash button to copy the number. This can then be pasted into the JBSenderHash field in ATS Control (see above screenshot).

User profiles

Go to User Profiles

You will always have 2 user profiles:

  1. Admin profile
  2. Client name Recruiter – all postings by default go through this account so this will be the ‘sender’ of jobs

You can edit the recruiter email address to add in the client preferred email address for notifications such as failed to post notifications due to lack of credits with the job board itself.

System setup

Go to System Setup

  1. Check application URLs is enabled
  2. Check Application URL tracking parameter has source in the free text box – if not add this in

  • Expiry Emails: Scroll further down the page and here you can specify where the job expiry emails and error posting emails go to

  • Credits reminder: Go to the credits subtab, add in an email address for the low credit reminder to go (CSC) and select from the when credit drops below dropdown at which point the notification should be triggered.

Low credit reminder – this is set at 10 credits for smaller clients and 30 for larger clients or those who post more frequently.

NB: If you have details of the job boards that need setting up you can also do this at the same time (by following the instructions in the Job Boards section of this guide).

Step 5 – Activate the feature in Security Roles
  • Login to Jobtrain
  • Settings
  • Security Roles
  • Create/Update Job(s)
  • Scroll down to Post the Job
  • Toggle on Job Boards

You have now fully setup Idibu and are ready to start posting jobs.

Go through with the client how to post jobs and then ask them to notify you once they have started posting jobs to Job Boards. You can then check that these have gone through properly by logging in to the clients idibu account and going to Ad Manager. Any errors in posting would show here with an overview of the issue.

Setup the Job boardsSubscribe to Job Boards

Go to Job Boards & Quotas and then click on Inactive Subscriptions

Search for the relevant job board and once found click on Subscribe.

You will be presented with a page to add in login details for that job board.

The credentials required to post via idibu will quite often vary to the client’s normal credentials as this is being done via a 3rd party feed. It’s recommended that the client contacts the job board directly to advise they are posting via idibu as they may need to supply different credentials or enable a feature on their end to enable this.
  • Configuration Help section will contain any useful information / tips on obtaining login details
  • Default Login is where you can add in the login credentials

Scroll down the page to go to the Required/ None Required section – here you can specify whether they are required to input this information before posting or not.

You can normally leave this as it is but if you need to ever switch items on or off for that job board this is where you would do so.

Save Settings

Adding in the Source Codes for Reporting

Once you have subscribed to job boards you then need to update the default idibu source codes to the Jobtrain source codes.

These are the source codes that would then display on the Source tracking reports.

Go to System Setup.

Scroll down to Application URL tracking mapping and select click to edit.

There is a list of the job boards the client has subscribed to and the default idibu source codes will be present.

Remove the idibu source code and add in the Jobtrain Source code.

These can be found on the JT Access Details Sheet under the tab entitled Idibu Source Codes.

Hide Salary

For most job boards clients simply add wording in the Salary Description field when posting the job to override the salary being displayed.

However, for a select few job boards this process differs.

Please see following sections on how to configure idibu to support the hide salary feature for these job boards.

CV Library Hide Salary

If the client is subscribing to CV library and wants to hide the salary, then go to Job Boards & Quotas > CV Library > Additional Options

In the Required / Non- Required section mark Hide salary as required.

Find a Job – Hide Salary
  • In order to Hide the Salary when posting jobs to Find A Job via Idibu
  • Go to the " Manage Default Settings " section of the Idibu page,
  • then click the " Set the Defaults... " button.
  • Here you will find the Hide Salary drop down field

Reed - Hide Salary & Featured Jobs

Hide Salary

To allow clients the ability to hide the salary you need to switch on the Salary Description field in idibu and mark it as required, to do so go to:

Job Boards & Quotas > Reed > Additional Options

Salary Description – select required as per below screenshot.

The client will then have the option to select from the dropdown when they go through to the publish page in Jobtrain.

Reed Featured Jobs

To set up featured jobs account you should use Reed but also enable the advert type question and mark it as required (also illustrated in above screenshot):

Advert Type = Required

Below is a screenshot of how this will appear on the publish page

How to add multiple API keys
  • Log into Idibu
  • Go to Job Boards & Quotas
  • Click on Settings next to the relevant job board

Make sure 'Extended Logins' and 'Show Users' are both selected to show on the settings page:

You can then add the API key per profile.

If you need to add more user profiles, just click on 'User Profiles' in the left-hand menu.
