Modified on Mon, 8 Sep, 2025 at 11:07 AM

            Feature: Assessment Forms
            For:
            Superusers, Recruiters

            I want to:

            • Create reusable assessment questions
            • Add questions to the Questions Bank
            • Copy questions from the Questions Bank into a form
            • Edit an existing question in the Questions Bank
            • Check which forms a question is used in
            • Understand how updates to questions affect existing forms

            Why use it?

The Questions Bank is a central library for managing reusable assessment questions. It helps save time, maintain consistency and ensure scoring logic is applied accurately.

            Key benefits:

            • Save time by reusing questions instead of creating them from scratch
            • Stay consistent with standardised wording, answer formats and scoring
            • Track usage easily using the tick icon to see which assessment forms questions are used in
            • Simplify updates by editing questions centrally for future use

            FAQs

If I edit a question in the Questions Bank, will it update in forms that already use it?

No. Changes made in the Questions Bank only apply to future uses of that question. If the question has already been copied into a form, you’ll need to edit it manually within that form.

If I edit a question inside a form, does it update the version in the Questions Bank?

No. Edits made inside a form do not affect the original version stored in the Questions Bank.

Can I see which forms a question has been added to?

Yes. A tick icon next to a question in the bank shows that it’s been copied into at least one form. It does not show exactly which forms, only that it’s in use.

Can I add any type of question to the Questions Bank?

Yes. You can create and store any supported question type (e.g. Choice, Text, Order of Importance, Matrix) in the Questions Bank.

Can I save a question directly to the bank while building a form?

No. Questions created directly inside a form are only stored in that form. If you want to reuse the question elsewhere, you must recreate it in the Questions Bank.

Will deleting a question from the bank remove it from forms where it’s been copied?

No. Once a question has been copied into a form, it exists independently of the bank. Deleting it from the bank won’t affect forms where it’s already been used.
