Jobtrain API
We have an API which is intended for integrations such as with HRIS systems and job boards, but it can also be used for data warehousing.
It provides data related to:
- Applicant Status workflow events
- Approval Status workflow events
- Job Status workflow events
- Some job data fields and Candidate data fields
Which is sufficient for tracking live progress of vacancies and candidates. It can produce periodic volumes and timescales associated with recruitment activity whether that is specific stages of the lifecycle or from raising a vacancy through to the hire of the applicant, with the ability to split this by taxonomies related to organisation structure or job types.

- Not wanting to be constrained by the structure of a CSV format, or limits on data size
- Want the freedom to call what they want when they want
- Who have the technical resources to manage this by themselves, with no support from Jobtrain

CSV Export/Import via the Advanced Insights Report Builder
If you have the Advanced Insights Report Builder as part of your Jobtrain package, you will know you can build your own reports encompassing:
- Applicant Status workflow events
- Approval Status workflow events
- Job Status workflow events
- Job Record fields
- Application Form fields
- Checklist Form fields
- Starter Form fields
- Approval Form fields
- Source Data
You can also create these as CSV data exports and add them to an automated export schedule (such as every hour, day or week). The scheduled export can be sent to a designated email address, from where you can use an Outlook rule or PowerQuery to automate the extraction of the attached CSV data into your data lake.

- Wanting a wider choice of data fields than that offered by the API
- Can operate within a 10,000 line limit for data per CSV export
- Wanting the ability to build these exports themselves, with no support from Jobtrain
